Upon receiving a new card from Kawartha Credit Union, you will need to update your online banking login and reset your mobile app.
Please find below step by step instructions to setup online banking for your new debit card.
Online banking setup for new card recipients
Update your online banking login on a computer
Step 1: Navigate to the online banking login page using the “Login” button from Kawartha Credit Union’s website.
Step 2: If applicable, remove any old saved logins
- Select “Manage Login Profiles”
- Select the trash can icon beside the saved login you wish to remove
- Accept the pop up confirming your wish to delete the saved login
Step 3: Login with your new card number and existing password
Step 4: If desired, save your new login for easier access next time
- Check the “Remember Me” box
- Enter in the nickname you’d like to use for this login
If you use other devices to access your Kawartha Credit Union account, you’ll need to remove old saved logins and use your new card number to login.
Reset KCU Mobile App
Step 1: Open the KCU mobile app and login with your current login credentials
Step 2: Reset the app
- Navigate to the “Settings” tile on your app
- Select “App Reset”
- Select “Reset Now” at the bottom of your screen
- Accept the pop up to confirm your wish to reset the app.
Step 3: Login with your new card number and existing password
Step 4: If desired, save your new login for easier access
- Check the “Remember Me” box
- Enter in the name for your new login profile
Step 5: If desired, enable quick view and biometric settings
- Upon your first login, you will be prompted with a screen to turn on your Quick View. This setting can also be managed under “Account Preferences” in the “Settings” menu.
- To enable biometric settings, go to “Settings” and to “Biometric Setup” and turn on “Use Biometric Login”. Follow the prompts to enter your password and confirm.
