
Staring on Tuesday, January 10, personal and business members who use online and/or mobile banking will be prompted to enroll in 2-step verification: a secure and user-friendly way to identify our members using verification codes sent via SMS text or email.

How to prepare for 2-step verification
All Kawartha online/mobile banking users must enroll in 2-step verification by March 7, 2023.Here are some tips to help you prepare:
- Have your Member Card/Access Only card number ready (see Frequently Asked Questions)
- Be ready to reset the following features:
- Memorized Accounts
- Bioemetrics (Face ID/Touch ID) for Apple iphone iOS users
